I just got my minotaur in the mail today and I'm really excited! Though I haven't even powered it on yet my initial impression is that it is great. It came as a kit which I was glad to see since I wasn't looking forward to spinning a PCB to use it. I'll still need to make up something but hopefully it'll just plug into the development kit. Coupled with the development kit the Minotaur closely resembles the BF537 STAMP.

Kit Connectors

• RS232 (EIA-232, sorry Graham)
• Ethernet
• USB - ? is this RS232<=>USB or a true USB device controller?
• CAN - ? I'm guessing, its the same connectors as the CAN connectors
• Expansion Header - not sure the pinout
• JTAG header - ? what else could it be, matches the pin pattern
• Jumper - ? two, not sure what they do yet

So now I have this awesome kit - I need to do something equally awesome. I'm not sure what I'll do yet but the leading ideas are a video encoder or decoder.
